In House Recruiter

London, England, United Kingdom Full-time Allows remote

Since 2015 we have launched innovative new ways for pet owners and pets to access trusted UK vets, including video consultations and home visits. Our aim is to remove the costs and inconvenience of traditional vet practice visits wherever possible, and have great, highly qualified vets do what they do best, on their own terms.

Our model means pets are seen at home, where they’re most comfortable, and pet owners and tPawSquad vet can develop a relationship and health routine over time – with longer appointment times, and a focus on personalised care. Vets working on the PawSquad platform benefit from a low-risk model of owning their own practice, and a unique model of flexible working.

To date, we have over 50 vets working on our platform but we are just getting started. In the next 24 months, the person who fills this role will work very closely with the founders and executive team to add 100+ vets to the team.

We are looking for a strategically minded, goal driven candidate to develop our veterinary recruitment strategy and manage the end to end recruitment process. This is a full time position, with the flexibility of working remotely 3 days per week.

  • Manage full-cycle, end-to-end recruiting processes with a focus on both candidate experience and communication with the wider team
  • Actively recruit candidates utilizing all appropriate methods in order to consistently generate a healthy pipeline of top-quality candidates
  • Work alongside the marketing team to develop campaigns aimed at raising the awareness of PawSquad among veterinary professionals
  • Maintain accurate data in our applicant tracking system & prepare report for management
  • Structure interview processes and evaluate candidates skill sets
  • Become an expert in both our core values and our product proposition to ensure a strong representation through the partner acquisition process
  • Take an active role in shaping and refining the overall recruitment process and strategies
  • Take a leading role in onboarding our vets and ensure that they (and the wider team) are set up for a great new vet launch each time

  • At least 3 years of end-to-end recruitment experience, preferably in the veterinary sector
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines, with strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships
  • Relentless drive to find and connect with the best talent
  • Motivated by targets and the challenge of delivering great results for an exciting company
  • Passionate about processes, recruiting metrics and objective measurement of results
